The black-and-white images featuring MARIE that fill this volume were taken in 2021 during a kind of "home shoot", specifically in an AirBnB apartment in Metzingen in July 2021. The location was a fairly spacious apartment in an older multi-family townhouse. The natural light coming through the windows was the only source of illumination. None of the photos were retouched afterwards to remove imperfections or create perfection.
With "Next Steps," I aim to capture less staged and more authentic, intimate moments. The usual pin-up or Playboy poses that we have seen all too often should be deliberately left out. Instead, the images should give the impression of accidentally witnessing a private, almost everyday moment. Ideally, it should not be obvious that the scenes are actually staged. The focus is always on the women themselves – their personality, their presence, their character – embedded in an erotic setting.
